Last day of opening – 26th February 2011

February 22, 2011

We had a brilliant Third Thursday event and will be sad to take the show in Kings Walk down. If you didn’t get a chance to drop in there is still time, our last day of opening will be Saturday 26th February. We will be open from 11am to 5pm. Kings Walk is located on Kings Street, Reading, RG1 2HG.

The shops are still fully stocked so you can always pop by and view the work through the windows if you can’t wait until Saturday when we are open. There have also been some exciting new additions to the show since we opened last week.

Thanks to Salvo who took the wonderful photos below, he has captured the opening night perfectly. See more fabulous photography on his website here.

We would also like to thanks Suzanne from Jelly who gave us this brilliant opportunity to utilise the empty shops in Kings Walk.

Our next scheduled event is the Caversham Arts Trail taking place in 15 venues across Caversham on 7&8 and 13-15 May 2011.

February 4, 2011

Our next event will be taking place on 17th February 2011 at Kings Walk, Kings Street, Reading, RG1 2HG from 5.30pm until 9pm. Why not come along, we would love to see you there.

As part of the Third Thursday events for one evening only the shop windows will come alive.  You will see demonstrations from artists, have the opportunity to talk to the artists and purchase the art work on show. This all takes place in the surroundings of Kings Walk and is sponsored by London and County.

We will also be open for two extra days on 19th and 26th February where you can also view and purchase the art work on show.

Here is a little preview of what will be on show from Caversham Artists.

There will be musical entertainment, and wine tasting from Award Winning local Organic Wine Merchant, Vintage Roots. The Third Thursday team will be on hand to talk about the partnership project between Reading UK CIC, Jelly and the future arts events.
