Caversham Artists Exhibition at More Arts Twyford – 28th October – 27th November.

We are pleased to share the dates of our next show at the new More Arts Gallery on Station Road in Twyford.

The gallery will be open from  Friday 28th October – Sunday 27th November 2011, Fridays 4 – 8pm, Saturdays and Sundays 12 – 4pm. During this time the participating artists will be available if you have any questions or would like to find out more about them. All items on show will be for sale.

There will be a variety of paintings, decoupage furniture, ceramics, jewellery, woodwork , sculpture, printmaking, photography prints and more. Participating artists are  Julie Simmonds; Louise Spiers; Sonia Olaniyan;Mary Phelan;  Lauren Denney;  Peter Quarmby; Nicola Duncan;  Anne Webster;  Roger Smalley and Beverley Bartlett.

The full address is 20 Station Road, Twyford, RG10 9NT. It’s very close to the train station and there is parking nearby.

We can also confirm that our Caversham Artists Christmas Show is going to take place at the Old Fire Station Gallery in Henley-on-Thames from 1st to 6th December 2011.

Don’t forget there are some other exciting local events that some of the Caversham Artists Members are participating in.

Craft in Focus is taking place at Wellington College between 28th and 30th October.

MERL (Museum of English Rural Life) Traditional Craft Fair – 5th November.

South Hill Park Craft Fair – 19th & 20th November.

Caversham Artists at Caversham Court

17th September 2011. Join us at Caversham Court from 10am to 4:30pm.

As an ongoing commitment to encouraging budding artists young and old in Caversham, Caversham Artists are holding a one day art and plant sale in Caversham Court. These wonderful gardens in the heart of the village, present a perfect backdrop for our art, much of which is inspired by natural forms. Work will be on display and available for sale.

Artists and guest artists include: Nina KrauzewiczMary Phelan, Charles Burns,  Therese Wicks, Matthew Hitch , Louise SpiersJulie SimmondsLauren Denney, Claire Elmes, Maureen Futter and members of Pangbourne Art Group, Salvo ToscanoCaversham Globe, Debbie Page and New Directions pottery.

Also displays by local art and environment groups will combine to make the day a celebration of local creativity. Proceeds from the Tea Kiosk will go to The Duchess of Kent Hospice charity.
